Welcast Properties Ltd. has announced the launch of its most ambitious project yet — the Welcast Business Park, a 2 million square foot integrated development in Purbachal, Dhaka. The project represents an investment of BDT 800 crore and is expected to create over 10,000 jobs upon completion.
The Business Park will feature Grade-A office spaces, a technology incubator, retail zones, food courts, and recreational facilities. The development incorporates green building standards with solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient systems.
"Welcast Business Park represents our vision for the future of work and commerce in Bangladesh," said the Director of Real Estate Division. "We're creating a self-contained ecosystem where businesses can thrive."
The project is expected to be completed by 2026, with Phase 1 already 60% complete. Pre-leasing has exceeded expectations, with several multinational corporations and leading Bangladeshi companies confirming their tenancy.
